1. Why we built this site?
Help people to search and explore the information about art in Beijing more convinent, more systematic and more instructive.

2. What functions should we offer?
Two major functions:

• search the information about art in Beijing by keywords
• explore information by catalog

3 .How are these information organized?

• the 12 items means that the information about art in Beijing are classified into 12 differents aspects, for example: design studio education institution, museum and gallery, exhibition, publishing company, media and so forth.

4. What will the user interface look like?
Firstly, I divided the information into several groups in terms of their different contents or functions, and located the placement of each group through the relationship between them, such as 并列关系, 包含关系等等.




Secondly, I chose the appropriate visual style to convey the feeling of both "Art" and "Beijing" and applied the style to details, such as small icons, text color and so forth.





5. Final Work
We have completed the design work for all pages, including register page and error page. However, the whole site has not been uploaded to the Internet resulted from some factors. So, here are some screen shorts.

6. Problems I met and how I solved them
the insufficiency in knowledge of web construction technology, especially the html code and action scripts in Flash.
Althouth we do not take charge of the coding work, the design without consideration about technology still brought some inconvenicence to programmers. So we stopped for some time and learned some basic technologies.
